Privacy Policy
Scorelet is a simple score recording application designed to help users locally record and manage academic scores by subject and date. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how Scorelet handles information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Scorelet does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or upload any personal information to our servers.
The app does not require users to create an account, log in, or provide personal identifiers such as name, phone number, email address, location, or contact information.
2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
Scorelet allows users to manually enter and save score records, including information such as:
- Subject name
- Score
- Date of the score record
- Year-based score history
All score records are stored locally on your device. We do not access, upload, transmit, or share this information.
You are responsible for the information you choose to enter into the app.
3. No Internet-Based Data Transmission
Scorelet does not require an internet connection for its core functions.
The app does not transmit your score records or any other user-entered data over the internet.
4. No Account Registration
Scorelet does not provide or require account registration. Therefore, we do not collect account-related information such as usernames, passwords, email addresses, or profile information.
5. No Advertising or Analytics
Scorelet does not contain third-party advertising SDKs.
Scorelet does not use analytics tools to track user behavior.
Scorelet does not collect device identifiers for advertising, analytics, or marketing purposes.
6. App Permissions
Scorelet is designed to operate with minimal permissions.
The app does not request access to sensitive device permissions such as:
- Camera
- Microphone
- Location
- Contacts
- Photos or media files
- Call logs
- SMS
- External storage
If future versions require additional permissions, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and explain the purpose of such permissions.
7. Data Backup
Depending on your device settings and operating system, locally stored app data may be included in your device's system backup service, such as Android backup.
This backup process is controlled by your device or operating system provider, not by Scorelet. We do not access or control backup data.
You may manage or disable device backup through your device settings.
8. Data Sharing
We do not share user data with any third parties.
Since Scorelet does not collect or upload personal information, we do not sell, rent, trade, or disclose user data to advertisers, analytics providers, business partners, or other third parties.
9. Data Security
Because Scorelet stores data locally on your device, the security of your score records depends partly on the security of your device.
We recommend that you protect your device with a screen lock, password, fingerprint, or other security method.
We do not operate servers that store your score records.
10. Data Deletion
You can delete your locally stored data by:
- Deleting individual score records within the app, if supported;
- Clearing the app data through your device settings;
- Uninstalling the app from your device.
Once the app is uninstalled or app data is cleared, locally stored score records may be permanently removed from your device, unless they have been backed up by your system backup service.
11. Children's Privacy
Scorelet is intended to be used by parents, guardians, students, or users who wish to record academic scores.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since Scorelet does not collect or transmit user data, we do not knowingly receive personal information from children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us. We will take reasonable steps to address your concerns.
12. Third-Party Services
Scorelet does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, social login, payment, or tracking services.
If third-party services are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what services are used and what information may be processed.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app functions, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
When we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
