Terms of Service

These terms spell out the rules that apply whenever you visit ywinnov.com, install the YWInnov app, connect one of our cameras, or submit an order. "YWInnov" or "we" refers to the team behind the YWInnov brand. The website, app, cloud relay, and paired devices together form the "Platform". Please read before you sign up — using the Platform means you agree to what follows.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, pairing a camera, or completing a purchase you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you are acting on behalf of an organisation, you also represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation.
2. What YWInnov Offers
YWInnov designs, manufactures, and sells compact smart cameras aimed at homes and small commercial spaces, along with companion mobile apps and an optional cloud playback service. We also run a white-label programme for brands that want to sell under their own name. Product images and specs on the site are indicative — minor hardware revisions may occur between production batches.
3. Accounts and Credentials
Certain features require a registered account. Keep your password confidential and your profile information up to date. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately. You are accountable for all activity under your credentials until you report a breach.
4. Prohibited Conduct
Use the Platform only for its intended purpose. Do not:
- Violate any applicable law while using a YWInnov product or service
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the firmware, app, or cloud APIs
- Reproduce, redistribute, or sublicense our content, designs, or software without prior written consent
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform
- Introduce malicious code that could disrupt the Platform or other users' devices
5. Ownership and Licence
All designs, firmware, software, trademarks, and content that make up the Platform remain the property of YWInnov or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for personal or internal business purposes — no broader IP rights are conveyed.
6. Responsible Camera Use
Our cameras are intended for lawful monitoring of spaces you own or control. As the operator, you bear full responsibility for complying with local surveillance, recording, and data-protection laws. In practice this means:
- Only install cameras where you have legal authority to record
- Post visible notices if your jurisdiction mandates them
- Never use the Platform to stalk, harass, or discriminate against anyone
- Avoid pointing a lens into spaces where others reasonably expect privacy unless you have their clear consent
7. Warranty Scope
Hardware products carry the warranty described in their packaging or product manual — that is the binding commitment. The website, app, and cloud service are otherwise provided "as is" and "as available" with no further warranty beyond what your local law implies automatically. We strive for high uptime and fast performance but cannot guarantee either at all times.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, YWInnov is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost revenue, lost data, or reputational harm — arising from your use of the Platform, even if we were advised such losses were possible. Where your jurisdiction does not permit these limitations, they apply only to the maximum extent permitted.
9. White-Label and Bulk Orders
Custom branding, OEM, and ODM engagements are governed by a separate commercial agreement negotiated between us and you. Pricing, MOQ, lead time, customisation scope, and acceptance criteria live in that agreement, not here.
10. External Links
The Platform may link to or integrate with third-party services such as voice assistants or social sign-in providers. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies — we are not responsible for their conduct.
11. Suspension
If you breach these Terms, or if your behaviour threatens the Platform, other users, or our infrastructure, we may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice. Clauses that logically survive termination — IP, disclaimers, liability cap, governing law — remain enforceable.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.
13. Amendments
We may update these Terms periodically. The current version is always posted here with the effective date shown above. Material changes are also announced inside the app. Continued use of the Platform after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated text.
